You might want to get an electrician out to check the connections. A loose wire connection can increase resistance, increasing temperature.

In the meantime, try reducing the amperage when charging the Mach E. On Teslas, you can dial the amperage down -- not sure if Ford has something similar. That will decrease your charging speed, but if you drop it from 30A to 20A, you'll reduce the draw and temp pull...
