Yeah, that Spyder is a hoot to ride. I found a Spyder group that goes on rides on weekends. The majority of them are retired, LOL. But still, it's fun riding around here because of the Sierra Nevada mountain range.

The hang glider deal, I can relate. We were there waiting of a couple of guys to ride the wind, but it was awfully gusty. When riding my Harley, I trust that my equipment AND skill will get me through the day in one piece.

Hang gliding, however, takes that to a WHOLE other level. As shown in the above pic, it's a sheer drop off once you step over that guard rail.

In the background are some trails of Slide Mountain, part of the Mt. Rose Ski Resort, where I and many of my powderhound friends carve turns with our skis or snowboards. One of our favorite things to do up there is tailgate. It's really nice skiing straight down to our cars, unclip our skis/snowboards, sit on our lawn chairs and have a few coldies and burgers off the grill while soaking up the warm, winter sun. Slope side parking, baby !!

Man, I LOVE living out here……
