Doesn't surprise me. The 330i ZHP put out 235hp in 2003 with an engine from a few years prior.
That the 328 put out 230hp 8 years later from the same displacement was silly.
Similar to Mazda getting only 155hp out of the ND Miata. Now they offer 30hp more. I bet they could squeeze even more.
