I'm glad you posted this... I've been heavily obsessing over 2012ish Aston Martin V8 convertibles lately, but was embarrassed to post anything about it. I love the looks and the ability to get a real 6sp manual. I'm a solid year to 18 months away from being able to make the purchase, but it hasn't stopped me from daily searches. They seem to be at a good depreciation point where if you can get over the initial $ outlay they'd be a relatively inexpensive ownership experience for something that is pretty exotic. And did I mention I think they are absolutely beee u tif full.

I am also totally sold on the new v60 to replace the X5 around the same time period. I'm holding out hope the bring the t8 powertrain over, as it looks on paper to be the perfect hot wagon for my wife.
