I agree with AF, they are definitely a very ... specific experience. I found the S2000 to be unbearably loud and coarse in normal driving. It was okay (though gutless) around town but on the highway they are so incredibly loud as to be really unpleasant.
I do have friends that absolutely love them, they're just not my cup of tea.
