The ride/handling balance of a high 5200lbs just doesn't work for me, an enthusiast, even though I try to have one non-enthusiast car in the household. I didn't find the a4 sports package good enough. While the x5 has better steering feel and weight distribution, that's about it. If I can convince myself that the front seats won't kill my back, I'm thinking of going with a recent (11+) wrx hatch. I can get over the basic impreza interior for the trade-off of having a light powerful car. A trade-in of an expensive bmw for such a car will be hard, so I may have to sell this myself, especially as it has cpo.

Have you listed it on the CCA website? Pretty good traffic over there, if you are trying to sell a BMW.
