Its not really that bad... But I sometimes do skip a gear on upshifts... I'll do 1/2/5 on city streets, or 1/3/4/6 if I'm not feeling like going that fast. Important thing on our '02 Cooper S is keeping the revs above ~2500, otherwise its a slug.

Now we just need to list ours so we can sell it before too many people learn about the '07s...
