edit: assuming that the car's bluetooth would function in the same way.
Every Bluetooth equipped car I've had can pair with multiple phones, but will only connect with one at a time. When my wife and I are both in the car with our phones, only one of the phones will connect with the car - and there is no consistent "winner". But if either of us get in the car alone (or leave a phone at home), it works with whichever phone is with us. I also have an iPhone and a Blackberry, both of which are paired to the cars. When I'm carrying both, it's random as to which one connects.
