You might have it set to "ideal" instead of "rated". When new, the S85 had an EPA rated range of 265 miles, so 90% was ~239. There's an option in the settings to flip this...

Tesla originally touted range by using the "ideal" metric, which was 300 miles at 60 on a flat road for the S85 -- pretty unrealistic. I've found the EPA rating is pretty good for commuting range, and Tesla now uses that in their published range guides...

My S60 originally had a 100% charge of 208 rated miles, and I'd get 184-185 at 90% -- never saw the theoretical 90% of 187. 100% charge now is 190-192 (it will vary…), and a 90% is 169-171. Considering the car is approaching 5 years old and has just over 83k miles, its done pretty well. Its hard to tell exactly how much of the range loss is due to degradation vs an out-of-balance battery, but at worst that's 9% degradation… Its still perfectly usable and has plenty of range for road trips...
