back-calculated into 1980s and 1990s money though, I'd bet the cars are cheaper now. the 993 was a helluva expensive car --no wonder Porsche almost died.
it is still shocking, though, when you are not ready to see what a GTS runs for --but consider that it is literally the fastest non-"Turbo" 911, it comes into focus. Because the 991.2 Turbo stickers for $193k, I think.
