I mean, how fast do you want to go around in an x5? It's not even fun, just competent. The x3 b58 might be a good choice if the size is sufficient and height a need... Don't know if it handles as tidily as a Macan, but if it's close than that engine would be a good match.

I have to drive a Macan. I've only driven a Cayenne. My ex recently had a Macan loaner (while getting the Boxster serviced) and did not like it at all--said it was very sluggish. Not sure what model it was. She couldn't wait to get back into her V8 X5.
The 2017 used Macan S is a pretty decent deal. This one is pretty loaded:
