The brand has certainly fallen quite a ways from the AM General civilian Humvee. Fortunately you can still buy a real ex-military one
here.
I wonder if GM's tarnishing of the Hummer brand affected AM General's loss of the
JLTV contract. Probably not, but I'm sure it didn't help, either.
