Back on (somewhat) original topic. Our TDI is crossing 60k with still no mechanical issues and only 10k oil changes... EPA/CARB issues are another story and a sore one. We love the car as it is, but cannot refuse a $21k offer for a 4yr old car with 60k as opposed to $6k and an uncertain future. Then again, crushing/scrapping this well-running car for "environmental" reasons?
