I also see this as complementing the GTI. Hence the desire for 4wd. I'm still in love with the value it represents and how that car comes together as a whole, the gestalt. It was brilliant.
I guess a longer Wrangler, what are they called, Limited, Unlimited? and a trailer would take care of most of my needs.
