The only part that would give me concern today is this:

What data is it giving, under what circumstances, how regularly, why, to who, how is it being used, how long is it being retained, how is it being protected, what protections are there about the data being used for other purposes or shared with others (is Tesla sharing your driver data with a carrier providing your life insurance that may up your rates or deny a claim due to what they learn from Tesla?), and on and on.

Beyond that, meh. If it works for you, why not?

The thing that bothers me most is that this road ultimately leads to all insurance companies requiring consent to the current level of Tesla intrusion to even provide insurance. And then everyone loses. For realz.
