The garage/no garage thing? I mean I hate that but it doesn't really factor into my thinking beyond being annoyed with it literally every day. But the only thing it really prevents me from doing is buying something truly stupid like a Sierra Cosworth or 928 that actually would have to live in the garage.
The Boxster has lived outside for nearly 12 years. It's not ideal but as long as you're reasonably diligent about covering it it's not that bad.
