That is a fun history!

His fascination with the Mark 5 is pretty weird. I don’t remember that version all that much. Also no comment at all on the Mark 2. One of my fav’s esp the first two years of the 16v. I did not care for the later years big bumper version shown in the clip.

I don’t seem to remember the Mark 6 Golf R shown at 9:10 in the clip. Maybe I just blocked it out as it was the first R to downsized to the 4 cylinder.
