Teach them to drive a manual when they first get their learners permit and it's second nature by the time they're driving on their own. I mean, they might "worry about how to drive a manual" if you teach them to worry about driving a manual. But if you teach them like you teach to check their mirrors and look both ways, it's just part of the gig.
