bummer, the e46 wagon didn't make the list

I am surprised by the Miata. It is interesting that most of the cars on the 'best' list are available/primarily sold with a manual. Perhaps this re-affirms the idea that manuals keep people more engaged in driving. Or maybe it just makes cars harder to steal ??

In any case I am currently teaching our 21 yr old to drive a stick. My poor 1er. Its going pretty well. She just needs to stop dumping the clutch as soon as the car starts moving.
