This does seem like the most realistic response. You've wanted a 911 forever. The boxster, no matter how good it is, constantly comes up in your posts as ready for replacement. You need a largish pleasant to roadtrip car and you want the flexibility of awd and a manual. Seems like EQU's 5er or EQU's 340 are the only two things that would fit the use case.
Horrible idea... lease a new x3.
