Changed the brakes and bled the system this weekend.
Going for the redneck look with the wood blocks.
It turns out my friend has one of my four jack stands (why only one? I can't remember). So I used the wood blocks on one side. It actually felt sort of safer than trying to pivot the Miata on the jack stands.
For those that don't know, Miatas can easily be lifted on to jack stands by setting your jack at the mid-point under the rocker panel pinch seam and lifting one entire side of the car up at once. Slip some jack stands under, then repeat on the other side.
