The Sulastics give me unloaded ride quality that is near to what it feels like with 500lbs. in the bed. Apparently, there is also a hydraulic rear cab mount that GM put out that also improves things. I haven't gotten around to that, but it's on my to-do list.

At least with the diesel, the downside of the Sulastics is that they will allow a bit of axle wrap. All in all, I can live with the compromise, but it's something to be aware of. If you're ever in DC, feel free to swing by Adams Morgan and take the truck for a test drive.

Also, I assume that you have installed a new steering shaft / bearing, and added a hose clamp on the column? The combination of the three has finally given me clunk free steering.
