I'd try charging it, but before I did anything beyond that I'd buy a new battery and throw it in. Actually, I might just do that anyway; if it is the battery and it's dead, you'll probably get some sort of pro-rated refund on it (or even get it for free if it's new enough). If it's not the battery you can always take it back.

Thanks , my dad had a battery charger that I borrowed. I got the battery from AAA so if does not work will bug them.
