I mean, Kristen Lee is probably not qualified to comment on autocross competition at the level you're looking for, but it's a positive review. Only problem is the price and the lack of bangers.
EDIT
8:30 on. 9.5" front wheel.

I talked about price in the other thread. The car configured the way I'd buy it will MSRP at $36,755 (which includes the $1095 destination fee I left out in the EBHPPP thread). I still expect this car to be buyable for $30ish at some point before the 2020 national autox seasons starts...if one configured as such can be found:
2020 Ecoboost ($26,770)
2.3L High Performance Package ($4,995)
Handling Package ($1,995)
101A Equipment Group ($2,000) (because fuck Ford for requiring it with the Handling Package)
Based on what early inventory/orders look like, that may be tough based on the hopefully-not-representative-sample I just saw on Ford's site. Maybe there are some build/order constraints right now? (Not uncommon.) But, anyway...
If it gets classed in D Street, I think it could be a class killer...unless it rains.
If it gets classed in F Street, I think it...could do well. There's already very little (if any) daylight between DS and FS from a performance standpoint.
