Normally, mileage and wear would have me replace tires before the 5-year mark.

However, when I inspected the sidewalls, there were no visible cracks. There's probably a little over 1/4" of usable tread left. I should have replaced them after 7 years, but these BFGs have some of the thickest sidewalls I've ever used. Iirc, they are Load Range E, since I tow a boat.

But you're right, I should have replaced them earlier. That is why I'm actively shopping for replacement tires, and have been getting quotes lately.
