Looking to get a new set of rubber for the MINI, and just realized that it has been at least 5 years since I've had to shop for tires. For several different reasons, I'm going to go with a set of OEM runflats.
In the past I've purchased tires from Tirerack, but it seems like it's not that great of a deal anymore when I factor in the install charges from one of the local shops that will mount runflats. Going by this menu, I'm looking at an extra $60 per tire.
So while Tirerack seems to beat everyone I see on a per tire basis, all the extra fees plus shipping (roughly $10 per tire) add up quickly. Am I missing something?
