Pretty sure this is a twin of the last boat my folks had on the Great Lakes. Twin 454s but only 350 hp from each. I think they also offered diesels but as with pickup trucks it was a huge upcharge.

Basically a floating RV. I never really understood the appeal, but it was fun to go out on every now and then.
Only 350hp because aren't built to rev. Boats are meant to spend a lot of time at peak power, and engines don't last if they're turning 7,000 RPM all day long.

Boats are like pools. They're something you want a good friend of yours to own.
