Sidebar comment, but the 1er is just an excellent car. I've been drving it a bit the last few days and even compared to the 911, it is just fun. You need to be a bit cautious to not over-drive (ie its got power to easily break away) with the 911, but with the 1er you can thrash on it a little bit without excessive drama. The infotainment from 2011 is worlds better than the 2017 version of PCM.
