My 10-year old BFGs has about 25k miles (remember, I only use my truck whenever there's snow, and for boat towing duties. Since the ski resort is only 36 miles and the lake only 28 miles from our house, the truck really doesn't accumulate that many miles a year).

Anyway, I've been impressed with its performance. I just thought I'd try something different (ok, cheaper), but I suppose tires are something that shouldn't be skimped on.

So to those who are wondering if they should run it, you should. The tire is one of the oldest out there, so it must be pretty good, right ??

I thought about getting those Toyos, but since they're not mountain snowflake certified, the choice is pretty clear.

Thanks for all your replies.
