what I can say about an 03 C4S or 08 C4S is that the acceleration is nice and linear. and the engine makes great sounds (and doesn't thrash) until you reach redline.
what I liked about the Turbo was that the lag is not as bad as on a late 1980s vintage Turbo, but still reasonably forceful. the 87 Turbo feels like it's from that era of car. the 996 Turbo still feels dynamically relevant in 2017.
