Don’t you have a house? You have a charger. Even if your panel won’t allow for a 240V connection, 120 is still workable (I’ve been using 120V at home for over 2 years now and have never had a range issue for my needs).

For people that live in an apartment or those that must park on city streets, I suggest a quick browse at PlugShare.com. Filter the chargers to those that match the connectors on the car. Still not quite as convenient as finding a gas station, but you might be surprised at how easy it is to find a charger...
