That Carwow Matt guy got under 3 seconds for the GT3 and it’s not a particularly quick car like the M5 and the TTS are.
Did you see the YouTube video where the Turbo (not Turbo S) walked the M5? That was eye opening to me.

Modern automatics also help create the insane 0-60 numbers as well. To get a better sense/comparison of how 2 cars will feel in terms of acceleration in the real world I find it helpful to look at 5-60 times (car and driver posts these results for example)
