And maybe it is just because I am getting old, but I don't see driver-less vehicles working at all with our current infrastructure.
I have written a lot of machine programming, and in my mind it is a all or nothing deal. I have written many robot-human interfaces, and no matter how many safety interlocks I have written or worked with someone always manages to try to bypass one or two and someone gets hurt. (or at least, in trouble)
I don't know if 5G is the answer, but I feel that if EVERY vehicle was operating as driverless it would work, and it would solve a lot of traffic problems. But I don't want to live (or drive) in a world where there is a percentage of driver and driverless vehicles
