In my mind, the BAT car is worth the money it will sell for, but I can't afford to pay that kind of money for a car that I can't consume (ie: not worry about driving it a-lot) without replacement.

Yeah, Brian’s a good friend of mine, going back to the days when we both owned Pontiacs.
I can see the reluctance to drive this thing, but I know that it was driven frequently and didn’t seem to be any less reliable than the cars on which it was sourced. I agree, if you’re not going to really use it, your money might be better spent on a real M5.
