Not only that, but I find the VAST majority of salesmen know VERY little about the cars they are selling . . . at least, compared to what I usually know by the time I walk onto the dealership's lot.

An exception was when I was shopping for my Miata back in '03. The salesman really knew his stuff. . . it also helped that he was a big car nut, I'm sure.
