Who would seriously consider a *NEW* BMW if car shopping now
 

As a companion to Doug's "Who is still a BMW owner?" poll, I am curious who among us would seriously consider a NEW current BMW if they were shopping for a car currently. Price IS a factor.

EDIT- For the purpose of this poll, assume it is already next spring and the E46 is already out of production. I know that many of you still like the E46 and that skews the poll from the question I am really trying to ask. Although, were I still an E46 owner, I'd have a hard time seriously considering replacing my car with another that is essentially exaactly the same.

For the purposes of this poll, are you considering the "current" 3 series to be the E46 or the E90?

The scary thing is that the vehicle I'm most likely to buy right now is an X5. :eek:

I would, depending on what segment we're talking about.

If I were in the market for a new car, I'd be stupid to ignore the e46.

Absolutely not. Mostly for the reasons listed.

The only car that holds any appeal is my current car. And if I had to make that decision again today, I would not buy it.

But if I were under different circumstaces or needs, some models in the E46 line would interest me. That is about it.

If you walk into a dealership today, you can buy an E46 new, but not an E90.

I was thinking E90, although that is technically incorrect.

So, for the purpose of this poll, assume it's spring and the E46 is out of production.
