Yes- unfortunately its a reflection of the market; there's less appetite for 2 seat sports cars these days.

Possibly- but I would bet that the 4 cylinder versions still make up the majority of 718 sales... (I could be wrong though...i remember reading that some huge percentage of 911 sales (maybe 50%?) are GT3s...))

Did a quick search and couldn't find any hard data. Did come across this article written by Doug Demuro in 2019 who quotes Matt Farah as saying that 40% of 911 sales were GT cars. I do remember seeing similar statistics quoted elsewhere but can't find it right now.

Be nice to understand their profit per vehicle.

E.g. for GM, their profits on Silverados, Tahoes and Suburban are f*cking gigantic.

Looks like their gross margin is around 18% which is excellent for the auto industry.
