Looking for a DC area detailer

Apparently my friend in Reston, VA got some clear coat damage on his black car, I suggested having a detailer look at it before taking it to a paint shop.

Basically what happened was we drove to NYC for the 4th of July weekend, then on Saturday the 5th our car got vandalized in Soho (on a busy street in front of packed stores in broad daylight, at 5pm, ). The passenger window was smashed, and his GPS was stolen. We decided there was no way we could get it fixed in Manhattan on a Sunday so we taped some trash bags and drove back. We used regular duct tape (had no choice due to the circumstances) which left a lot of residues. I came back to TX yesterday, and today, my friend, being a non-car guy, tried to clean the residues off by rubbing it hard with a kitchen towel. Now he says the areas he rubbed are white, but by the sounds of it, I think he only scratched the clear coat.

Again this is in Reston, VA, but he's willing to go to anywhere within 2 hours drive for a really good detailer.

Thanks in advance!
