I have a new favorite "TV" show
It's not really TV, I guess, as it's on Youtube. But whatever. It's called "The Skid Factory" and is a spinoff of Mighty Car Mods, which is a show out of Australia where a couple of guys buy cars, do technical work, and chronicle it. They tend to be equally focused on showing the work happening as well as being involved with the car community in Australia.
The Skid Factory tends to be more focused on tackling specific technical / fabrication challenges and is lighter on the community aspect. Bottom line, they show a lot of fabrication detail which I find to be really interesting and generally lacking in most shows on cable TV. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s2wnKLqbVxM |

However, I'm more intrigued with shows like "Garage Squad" and "Overhaul" because they take a vehicle that has sentimental value and turn it to something WAY better than stock. And the lucky recipients of such projects get emotional, which is part of the reason why I like watching them. |
