bleh... Rear doors are too small...

I'm in Madrid this week... There are a few giant banners around town introducing the new "Serie 1 Sport"... The 1-er 3-door hatch. Looks better than the 5-door, but I think the coupe is best of them so far...

If it truly looked like that and BMW actually built it, I think it would sell really well.

Edit: The front door is still too long.

Looks kind of cool. But my next car only needs two doors.

My kids are big enough that they can climb in and buckle themselves, only my youngest still needs any type of child seat and it's only a booster. No more big honkin' car seats. So two doors isn't a problem.

Ohh looking forward to switching back?

Interesting. I will probably never own a two door car again unless it's a commuter econobox or something. The convenience of back doors outweighs anything a two door has to offer. (I decided this when I had the M3 after the 330 - well before I was thinking about kids, too).
