That Mercedes is kind of cool. But when would you drive it?

Good points,

But the Benz is geographically desirable compared to the others in Arizona

I don’t love the two-doorness of the Benz.

Please leave the AZ cars in AZ. They don't deserve to ever see winter :D

Two door much less practical but far cooler in this application. Plus look at those jump seats.

I kind of dig the grey plaid…

My '65 LandCruiser had side facing jump seats in the rear. No rear bench, but you could get 4 people in the back and 3 in front (it had a bench in front)… Not bad for something the size of a 2-door Wrangler...

Ok, after a day bombing around in the Porsche, I've decide the 911 Targa is out. As much as I've always wanted one, I just don't see the wisdom in replacing the Boxster with a car that's that much older, slower, and more expensive.

The BMW and the G-wagen, in theory, wouldn't replace the Boxster. Both of those continue to intrigue me.

I keep wanting to see you buy the G-wagon, but I am having a hard time seeing you enjoy driving it around on a regular basis, particularly if you never do anything off road. As per one of the comments.

With all due respect. I own the cactus green bat and had a 2008 and have many trucks currently. The ride is closer to freight train than car and anyone who tells you otherwise is dreaming. The G’s are amazing, stunning unique, capable vehicles in all terrain. But- not comfortable for passengers in the conventional sense and the early cars are not Hwy cruisers. They are relatively slow and loud. Just go in eyes wide open. They are polarizing vehicles so take a test drive before committing . Part of being in our community is sharing good and bad data openly with each other so we can all make informed decisions.
Also, I see on the dash it has two locking diffs, but no mention in the ad whether they work. I'd ask about that.

Me thinks you'll be driving a new, white E30 soon.

Wow that interior on the g-wagen. Deserves a manual to go with it though.

I don't think that simply buying a car is going to scratch your itch.

I think it would be entertaining to do it up with a 3.5L Ecoboost crate motor.

Maybe you just need a better Boxster. There are such good deals on 2009 to 2014 Boxsters on PCA right now...
