Spyder for JST thread...
Whenever any one of us sees a decent spyder for sale, we should put it up for JST to see... :stickpoke:
This one is asking $58k... http://www.6speedonline.com/forums/a...er-spyder.html |
Thanks. Why are so many of those cars white?
I saw that ad on Autotrader. His pricing seems a bit more realistic than many others I've seen, but that's still a pretty steep premium over what an S would be, and the tradeoff is a top you can't use and having to have arm straps for the track. |

IIRC, only white, black, silver and a vintage light beige/yellow.

How about this one then? I guess I must have shopped enough in the last couple of years as I drove this car in Fall 2011 just before I switched my attention to 997's. It was for sale at Pepe Porsche in White Plains, NY and to my memory quite excellent. They were firm in the mid-50's with no-CPO. Might have had a few thousand miles at that time. No xenons though.

I'm glad you mentioned that one. I'm not a huge fan of beige, but otherwise it is tempting. I was sort of thinking about it, but hasn't noticed that it didn't have Xenons. That's probably a deal breaker. Who orders a car with Nav and all that other BS and no Xenons?

Looks nice, but no sale for me without 'em. |
I drove it top down in October, I also sorta remember a heated steering wheel. Yeah, porsche xenons are really good, so it was a dealbreaker for me.
|
Yes, the dealer's website has the full option list, and it lists a heated wheel.
No premium package or whatever they called it, so no Bose and no wind blocker, unless they made that standard at some point. Very odd. It makes me appreciate how lucky I am to have found my car in the spec it's in. |
