Storing my aftermarket spare

I bought the Modern Spare kit for my 4 series, but I only put it in the trunk for trips out of town. Is it OK to store it standing up, bearing its own weight, or must I store it flat (which would take up a lot more room)?

Any wise thoughts?

I think your stuck lying it down, I would be concerned about flat spotting but I am no pro so I can be completely wrong.

Is there room on a wall to hang it?

Idk, I wouldn’t sweat it that hard; you can’t go very fast on it anyway, and if it’s slightly flat spotted it’s not the end of the world. But yeah, if you can hang it that’s probably best

Storing it standing up is not an issue.

Thanks, guys. Hanging anything in my garage is challenging. It was a carport that was closed in—walls are all a rather crumbly brick.

I may opt for the “don’t worry about it” solution.

Yeah, don't worry about it. Just keep it inflated. If you feel really motivated, roll it a little every now and then.

Good ideas. Gracias.
