<img src=http://forums.carmudgeons.com/album_pic.php?pic_id=633"> And, the best part: <img src=http://forums.carmudgeons.com/album_pic.php?pic_id=632"> Just one new BMW. As you can see from the pics, its an 05 ZHP, IR with black alcantara, CWP, and BMW Assist. And XM. Nick, it was a step but I had them custom install an old GM Hydramatic 2-speed from a 1964 Nova. Shifts real smooth. This is the very car that TD, Mrs. TD and I drove a couple of weeks ago--when we took it out it had 6 miles on it, and when I went back to look at it again it had the same 16 on it that it had when we were finished driving it, so I know essentially everyone that's driven the car, which is kind of cool. In the end, my decision was down to doing an E90, or doing a Mustang/RX-8 now and an E90 in the fall. Then I read some of the early reviews of the E90, which convinced me that I have little desire to own one of those. Moreover, I'm hopeful for the possibility of a turbo RX-8 by mid-year next year, so when the dealer made me a decent offer on this car, it seemed foolish to pass it up. Even if it is too slow. |
