Or, as we like to say in Tampa, "If you drive a car, you're probably a jerk".

We all know that the public has a pretty negative view of BMW drivers, so I try my best to change their view by being courteous to pedestrians and other drivers.

The funny thing is, the drivers here in NV are pretty courteous to me. Thought for sure they'd be more of a dick since I drive a BMW.

Guess people here are a lot cooler than people from the East....

:dunno: :dunno:

I think, given that your car nearly qualifies for vintage status, you get more affection than animosity. :)

Good point, lol.

It probably has to do with employee pricing, or some kind of special deals, but there are a shit load of older BMW's in my area. Actually those are secondary reasons, The Spartenburg plant has been around for what, 30 years?

E36's and E46's that should have been in scrap yards run around like cockroaches.

I wouldn't call their owners jerk's, but none of them would be invited to my Thanksgiving dinner

LOL. Despite its issues, the E46 has been pretty durable. I see tons of them in ATL.

Agreed.

Even though my car is almost 18-years old, it still looks and drives very nicely.

Just saw one tonight. One of the best of all BMW designs, IMO.

Just turned 170k, and still drives the way I took her off the Ferman BMW lot near Tampa, FL almost 18 years ago.

While it doesn't have a lot of high-end electronic doodads as options, THE best option on it is the No Car Payment, lol.

:D :D
