For what it's worth....

Quote:

Dear Bimmer Enthusiast:

We are pleased to announce that Bimmerfest 2007 will be held on May 5, 2007 at the Earl Warren Showgrounds in Santa Barbara, CA. As the event will be taking place during Cinco de Mayo, we urge you to make hotel reservations as soon as possible to avoid having to stay outside of the general Santa Barbara area. More details about the event will be coming in the next few months including the release of online registration. In the mean time, log onto http://www.bimmerfest.com/ and register for an account at the forums if you have not already done so. You can find the Bimmerfest 2007 forum at http://www.bimmerfest.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=131

You may now also order a copy of The Official DVD of Bimmerfest 2006 to remind yourself of why Bimmerfest is the biggest and best BMW event in all the land. Visit the following link to buy a copy today: http://www.bimmerfestdvd.com/order.html

We look forward to see you on May 5th!

Sincerely,

The Bimmerfest Team

Thanks for the post Howard. For what it's worth, you wouldn't believe the response that we received today from prospective vendors to a similar letter that also went out today. There will be close to 75 vendors/tuners on hand come May 5th. We will have an entire conference hall for Steve Dinan et al to present. Also, Scottn2retro thinks we'll be able to get the BMW racing teams to return too. Since it's "Cinco De Mayo" we're going to go with the Mexican motif. Viva la fiesta!
