As in, just like fuck it?

For the right numbers, I’d think hard about considering a scenario where I traded the 2.0 In on a quad.

Either that or I’ve been drinking.

When in doubt, I'll always vote for "fuck it".

Wait that came out wrong.

There’s a point, apparently at 59, where you just drop kick rationality.

Heads up to you youngsters.

It makes so much sense now. I always figured Nick was my age.

You Asians age so well...

JST 02-27-2019 06:54 AM

It makes sense to me. How many chances do you get to own a Ferrari engine?

ff 02-27-2019 07:05 AM

If the money isn't a concern, then I can't think of any reason not to say "fuck it". Do what makes you happy.

I did that at 39. Dumped a 1.5-year-old auto, non-sport 330i (my first automatic) and bought a sport with a stick. Great decision.

I, too, will be 59 this year. How did that happen?

👍

It's morning.

Please tell me that sobriety has not caused rationality to be un-drop-kicked.

Who knew Burton Baton from Dogfish Head was 10% ABV.

:lol::lol::lol:

This would be such 'equ' move, it's not even funny...

Sometimes I think in spreadsheets and needs and sometimes in emotions. The problem is that those spreadsheets are not perfectly rational either, there is plenty of bias...

I don't know either Alfa well enough to have an opinion. I do know that, for me, day in day out, a car like an e46 M3 or pretty much any 2-seater porsche is not as good to have as a softer f10 535i or f30 340i or e90 330i or 335i (as long as 6-cyl, stick and semi-decent suspension are preserved). I prefer the latter for rough roads, winter, longer range, peace and quiet on the highway. Maybe recent Quad or M cars have enough of a dual personality, I'm not sure.

If I wasn't allowed to have more than one car, it'd be tougher. I think I'd have to have an M3 in that case and have it do everything.

Alex, how's the Quad? We should get together one evening soon.

Dunno if you're just encouraging him, or if you know things...

rumatt 03-05-2019 06:00 PM

So Alex, do we need to buy you some more Burton Baton or what?
