I like your taste in Class A's. I was poking around one at the dealership today while we waited for ours to be brought out. I can definitely see the appeal. Our local BMW club toured the Tiffin motorhome factory last year. It's in Red Bay, Alabama. It was fun outing and some of those coaches that we walked through were absolutely stunning. I believe they were in the $500k-$700k range. |
Maybe there are better socket adapters today, but 13 years ago I butchered a 6" 3/8 extension. I cut the female end of with a hacksaw in a vice. This allowed the shaft to fit into the drill chuck, and the other end held the socket.
One thing I must point out, the extension cord I linked is not exactly what I have. Mine works fine, looks like new. But it is a 8 years old. In the link I posted it seems they have now molded a better finger hold to help unplug the cable. Mine doesn't have this. I have always used a bit of die-electric grease to help ease the plugging-unplugging. I'll include a few packs of this grease too. Message me what town your Fastenal store is in, and I'll start it from this end |

Bob Tiffin (iirc, that's the name of owner of the company), is very approachable and will fix anything in his coaches that is troubling the owner. In other words, he stands behind all the products he puts out on the road. |
