When I see 6th gens drive by, I look. I don't do that with Mustangs or other cars. I'm pretty sure I'd be happier in a Mustang variant on a daily basis, but I'd definitely take a 6th gen if someone offered me one. But I'd probably rather have a Mustang.

But then some news hit yesterday that has me back to thinking about a 986S again (or non-S 987?), but in combination with a truck. Or perhaps even better would be a 986S plus finding a friend with a truck, a trailer and no properly running race car.

If only I knew where to find such a friend...

The carmudgeon terms of use clearly prohibits non-S purchases.

Now you're made me look into the Mustang GT / 350. :eeps:

Wouldn't have to travel to Detroit this time.

I look at Mustangs that pass by, I think the latest generation models are really cool in that sort of beefed-up, I've-got-some-power-to-deliver, way .... unless it's a base model, which just seems sad.

The schnoz/hood is odd-looking (bulbous) to me. But otherwise I think it's really sharp in the darker colors.

Yeah. I mentioned it to my wife. I'm still alive to type this, so that's a good sign.
