-I REALLY want that car even with the engine in the back, a sunroof, and whatever other poseur options become std in the US.

it's the only 911 i'd consider for myself.

not real thrilled with the exhaust note, though. sounds just like an s2000 to me.

didn't really howl or shriek. just sort of buzzy to me. could very well be the piss poor microphone on the car, though. when i've heard 996s with the factory sport exhaust, you know, the $2000 option? THOSE sound wicked.

this car didn't sound wicked. it just sounded like a cammy little engine.

I'll post another vid as soon as that damn site will let me upload again. It sounds great, despite PAG's ad agency trying to ruin it all with stupid music. As much as I like the S2000, it can come off as just a hard-edged blare. Nothing like the GT3.

i could think of 3 cars close at hand that sound much meaner at WOT.

no question the car is cool. just wouldn't be surprised if there is some exhaust sound tuning on it.
